My First Post .........

Well my first post on my little sewing place blog. I am a complete beginning to sewing but I am loving every minute of it! This year I thought it would be nice to make some homemade gifts so with the help of my father in law who used to be a tailor I have managed to make this shopping bag for my mum. I am so pleased how it has turned it. If anyone reads this post I would really appreciate your comments.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs Lynsey :)

  2. Hello Lynsey! I think that you have done a great job with this bag! I have had a go at making bags in the past and have a cupboard full of patterns and material. Might give another go as it is nice to do something different. Smashing job Lynsey! I would be over the moon if someone made me a pressielike this! I too thought of making all my pressies for next Christmas! Must be the 'Kirsty Effect'

  4. It's gorgeous Lynsey and I bet your Mum loved it. I used to do so much sewing years ago and made a lot of clothes etc., but the lack of a machine these days does make a difference LOL! Keep up the good work, there could be a market for those bags I think. Hugs, Chris xx
